| Lew Wilson (b. 1948) is skilled in both photography and
painting. He is a Vietnam veteran who is passionate about the
preservation of our great American rivers. He travels to different
areas of the country capturing rivers through photography and
plein-aire watercolor painting. He has worked from the Florida
Everglades and Keys to the southwestern deserts up to the Rocky
Mountains. He says "we all live down-stream." He produces both straight
color photographs and intricate, one-of-a-kind, hand-painted prints. Note: Lew has been afflicted with macular degeneration for several years. Lately, he no longer has sufficient eyesight required to perform the delicate hand coloring of his prints, sometimes necessitating adding color in the width of a human hair. He has chosen to make his work available on a best-offer basis. |
