Mark Citret is from California and is nationally known. He photographs a wide range of subject matter from landscapes to common objects. He was born in 1949 in Buffalo, New York, and grew up in San Francisco. He began photographing seriously in 1968. For years he has been a teacher at the university level and at various well known photographic workshops. Mr. Citret's work is represented by a number of major photographic galleries and museum collections around the country. Underneath
the images below are prices, sizes and paper types. Prints are normally
limited to 45 copies, and prices increase as the editions sell out. He
can make a special kind of print, of interest to collectors, produced
on a rare Kodak paper called Polyfiber A, which was discontinued in
1994 (he bought up their stock). It is an extremely thin paper, and a
combination of toners are applied. He refers to these prints as
"vellums", and they are very unique and beautiful. |
